It is important for our guests to know the value of what they are paying for. When asked why our tours are more expensive than a seemingly same tour from another operator, we can only reply that the difference is that it is not at all the same tour. Personalized, entertaining, experienced guides:

• A truly personalized experience: Most of our clients have described our services like a day out with a friend. We offer dynamic, informative personalized contact guiding on our tours. With the exception of certain monuments and museums, we do not leave guests to "explore independently" although that is certainly an option.
• Your Local, English speaking guide: We are native English speakers, or speak English as well as a native English speaker, and have all been guiding or working in travel services in Catalonia for many years. We offer more than 50 years of combined experience between the seven of us here at Spanish Trails.

• Sharing History, culture and tradition are a key part of the Spanish Trails experience. Our goal is to make certain that all of our guests gain a true understanding of the history, culture and tradition of the Catalan region as well as other European history.
• Regional logistics: We know and utilize the backroads of Catalonia from Barcelona to the Pyrenees to the Costa Brava and have great relationships with many sites of interest, restaurants and wineries. We can adjust a day trip or event ‘on the fly’ to avoid set backs and to maximize your day and experience.

"Local flavor" Unique, Exciting destinations and itineraries:

• Away from the crowds and the common is where we take you. Our destinations are largely places buses and the crowds cannot get to. For more popular sites of interest, we make sure to stay one step ahead of the crowd. Unique restaurants of great Catalan fare and private wineries for interesting, extensive tasting is what we provide, not fixed menu meals or trolley rides and a sip in large touristy wineries.

Great Food and Wine & Entrances are included in our tours:

• Great meal of traditional and new age Catalan food and wine are included in our tour prices, which in itself is a 15-25€ value. Our clients more often than not qualify the lunch venue and food we provide as their best and most plentiful meal since arriving. Many report later that they needed little more than just some simple tapas for dinner that night!
• Entrances and beverages are included in our tour prices. If we take guests on a Dalí/Girona tour, for example, the tour price of 95€ includes entrances to the museums and Girona cathedral. Water is included throughout the tour and, Yes, you can freely enjoy many glasses of the many wines presented on our wine tours.
