Whether you’re thinking of some quiet time on a Costa Brava beach, a sea kayak adventure, cooking classes, biking leisurely from village to village in the Catalan countryside whilst wine tasting and sampling the local Catalan cuisine, or trekking and walking in the Pyrenees…or all of the above…the answer is “yes, we can make that happen”.

Two Day Escape

Day 1

• Leave Barcelona after breakfast
• Explore the cliffs, coves and beaches of the Costa Brava, either on foot or in sea kayaks.
• Great lunch in a coastal village, or picnic in a cove (if kayaking)
• Arrive to country bed & breakfast
• Relax, nap or freshen up
• Cooking class taught by the proprietors (also chefs) and/or dinner

Day 2

• Full breakfast in the dining room or garden
• Cycle leisurely through local villages or to the beach
• Lunch on the coast or village (not included in quoted price), or a packed lunch from the B&B
• Return to Barcelona in the late afternoon or early evening

Three Day Escape

Day 1

• Leave Barcelona after breakfast
• Explore Pyrenees medieval village with optional waterfall hikes
• Arrive to Girona (a small city north of Barcelona)
• Check into accommodation in the Historic Quarter
• Rest or explore the surrounding cobblestone streets
• Dinner at a traditional Catalan restaurant

Day 2

• Breakfast
• Enjoy Girona’s history, architecture, shops and cafes
• Lunch before leaving Girona
• Transport to Penedes wine region for a day of great food and wine
• Relax on the beach or short coastal hike in the afternoon from your coastal village accommodation
• Dinner at a local restaurant (not included in quoted price)

Day 3

• Breakfast
• Spend morning on the beach or exploring by sea kayak
• Wine tasting at a small, local vineyard on the way to Barcelona
• Barcelona city tour in van or walking
